Strategic Partner Manager (Integrated Payments)

    At BlueSnap, you’ll join a proactive, quick-thinking team driven to scale our rapid-growth partner channel. As a Strategic Partner Manager (Integrated Payments), you’ll manage a portfolio of strategic partnerships with independent software vendors (ISVs) to enhance the relationship and surface new opportunities to grow revenue. This crucial role drives the business planning and execution of programs and initiatives with partners – including annual sales forecasts and plans, sales enablement, marketing plans, pipeline management, quarterly business reviews and product roadmaps. This is a great opportunity to leverage your talent for channel/partner management, business development and strategic account planning. 

    This position is based in Waltham, MA.

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop and manage relationships with a portfolio of BlueSnap partners to grow and retain share and revenue. Secure ongoing preference and advocacy within the partner organization. Create ongoing feedback loop with partner and internal teams at BlueSnap (relationship, strategic alignment, product roadmap, customer care, etc.)
    • Work with high-performing and high-potential ISV partners to develop an annual joint business plan that defines the strategies and activities to meet revenue goals; review and assess plan progress in partner-facing quarterly business reviews, making changes as appropriate
    • Develop annual forecast and report on progress vs. goals – provide insight into results and present opportunities to address or exceed current performance
    • Drive ongoing partner alignment sessions to review partner pipeline, conduct win/loss analysis, and develop account penetration strategies to identify and build new sales opportunities
    • Manage onboarding and certification process for newly assigned partners to ensure partner integrations include all appropriate features and follow an expedient path to revenue recognition
    • Advise partners on emergent trends and best practices in the global payments industry and how BlueSnap’s technology aligns with these issues
    • Proactively anticipate and address concerns and service issues with partner and internal teams. Represent partner needs and requirements to internal teams and drive toward resolution
    • Engage and manage internal resources in support of partnership objectives, plans and sales opportunities (e.g., direct sales, product, channel marketing, account management, pricing, etc.)


    REQUIREMENTS

    • 5-7 years of experience in partner-, product-, or project management
    • 3+ years of experience working directly in either payment processing or e-commerce
    • Proactive customer service orientation, professional maturity and the ability to identify, develop, and capitalize on executive relationships
    • Drive to challenge the status quo and find new and better ways meet and exceed partner expectations and business results
    • Excellent project management skills- comfortable managing simultaneous time-sensitive, cross-functional initiatives
    • Ability to think strategically and act tactically – see the big picture, understand the implications, assess opportunities, develop plans, roll up your sleeves to get it done
    • Collaborative and positive approach to working within and across teams to achieve results
    • Ability to communicate with and present to senior executives in a clear and confident manner
    • Familiarity with API development and documentation
    • Ability to travel – 10-15% throughout the year
    • A Bachelor’s Degree, business or computer science preferred
